Seeds?

On Tuesday Margaret told me she liked the little oranges with the seeds better than the ones I bought. I hated her for that. Sometimes it feels like I can’t do anything right. Who prefers seeds anyway? Surely she was just saying it to be difficult.

After she turned her smug face away from me I remained there imagining what it would feel like to shove one of those pieces of fruit down her gaping hole…
