He was alone and that was the way he liked it. He liked it even more when the streets were deserted and it felt like he was the only person in the world. That was why he spent so much time looking at the weather forecast, hoping and praying for rain, the more the better. That always kept people inside.

But there was little hope of that tonight. New Year’s Eve, the worst night of the year, annoying…
